BOOK 0
In case you need to get started

Dear Reader,

Being trapped in a bedroom with a woman is a grand thing. Being trapped in hundreds of bedrooms over two thousand years isn't. And being cursed into a book as a love-slave for eternity can ruin even a Spartan warrior's day.

As a love-slave, I know everything about women. How to touch them, how to savor them, and most of all, how to pleasure them. But when I was summoned to fulfill Grace Alexander's sexual fantasies, I found the first woman in history who saw me as a man with a tormented past. She alone bothered to take me out of the bedroom and onto the world. She taught me to love again.

But I was not born to love. I was cursed to walk eternity alone. As a general, I had long ago accepted my sentence. Yet now I have found Grace--the one thing my wounded heart cannot survive without. Sure, love can heal all wounds, but can it break a two-thousand-year-old curse?   Julian of Macedon

Sometimes it’s the person you least expect who can satisfy all your desires.

By day Amber’s a librarian, and by night she hides away writing erotic romance novels. She has just one problem—not enough sexual experience to pull from. A recent steamy dream leaves Amber wondering if her neighbor Jax might be just the guy who can help her. He seems almost perfect to use as a sexual guinea pig, especially since she doesn’t have to worry about falling in love with him.

Jax has lived next door to Amber for a year and has tried everything he can think of to get her to notice him, but it hasn’t worked. Until recently. When Amber approaches him asking for his help, he’s ready to jump on board. When he learns exactly what kind of help she needs, he’s definitely willing.

Becoming involved with someone like Jax simply isn’t an option for Amber. He barely works, can’t manage his money, and has no ambition in life. So why does he suddenly seem so right for her?

Content Warning: explicit sex

EXCERPT:

Amber grabbed the bottle of wine and refilled both glasses. She thought about chugging the bottle down for liquid courage, but didn’t know how that would look. Taking the glasses, she headed into the living room and tried to get comfortable and appear sexy at the same time.
Jax came out of the kitchen and took a seat on the couch across from her, still holding a towel as he dried his hands. She had to just get it out or she was going to chicken out. She could tell Jax was anxious to know what was going on.
“Okay, so the reason I asked you over tonight…” She grabbed her glass and took a big sip of wine. Screw it, she needed liquid courage. She drained her glass and set it down. Taking a deep breath, she blurted out, “I’m writing a book.”
“That’s awesome. Did you want me to edit it or something?”
“Um, no,” she replied. “Okay, this is tough to ask. So I guess I should just say it.”
Jax just looked at her, waiting. He looked sexy as hell sitting with his arms across the back of the couch. It was now or never.
“The book I’m writing is an erotic romance.” She studied his face; a slight smirk formed on it. “As you might know, I don’t get a whole lot of male company around here, and well, past experiences have never really left me satisfied, so I don’t have a lot to go on.”
“Are you asking me for porn or something?”
She bit her bottom lip and let out a slight laugh. “No, I’m asking if you would be interested in being a test subject for me.”
Jax lost his smirk and his eyes widened.
“I have a lot of ideas, I just don’t know how they would exactly play out, if you get my drift. I want to try them with you.”
“Are you asking me what I think you are?”
“What do you think I’m asking?”
“You want to have sex with me to help with your book?”
“Yes.” Her eyes locked on his.
Jax stared back, his eyes darkening with passion. Silence stood between them.
“Where do I sign up?” he responded.

It's always been my dream to be a writer. Ever sense I was a child, creating stories has been a passion of mine. I have always said that one day I would be an author. Finally, I am working on this dream of mine. I have two children who have been keeping me busy for the past 7 years. My youngest is starting pre-k this year and I have more time for me and to concentrate on what I want out of this life. So I am picking up pen and paper...well I guess keyboard and screen, and working on this dream. It isn't going to be easy. There will be many ups and downs, but I am ready. I know this dream will come true, my mom told me so, "You can be anything you want to be when you grow up." Thanks mom, here goes nothing!

Book Blurb:

Aries has lived her entire life aboard mankind’s last hope, the New Dawn, a spaceship traveling toward a planet where humanity can begin anew—a planet that won’t be reached in Aries’ lifetime. As one of the last genetically desirable women in the universe, she must marry her designated genetic match and produce the next generation for this centuries-long voyage.

But Aries has other plans.

When her desperate escape from the New Dawn strands her on a desert planet, Aries discovers the rumors about pirates—humans who escaped Earth before its demise—are true. Handsome, genetically imperfect Striker possesses the freedom Aries envies, and the two connect on a level she never thought possible. But pursued by her match from above and hunted by the planet’s native inhabitants, Aries quickly learns her freedom will come at a hefty price.

The life of the man she loves.

EXCERPT:
“Might as well stay here and make camp for the night.”

His casual tone stung her composure. How could he talk of such mundane things when they’d almost been captured, when she’d touched him so tenderly?

“We’ll let them get farther away,” Striker explained, reasonable as always. “We’re going in their direction tomorrow.”

The sting of rejection grew, burning a hole in her heart. “Why?”

“Why what?”

Her lips trembled. “Why not kiss me like you did before?”

“I can’t.” He shook his head, and the air cooled between them; so much so, Aries wondered if the desert had turned into deep space.

He’d teased her with such affection before, it was cruel to take it away. “I don’t understand,” she said, wishing she didn’t care, wishing she could stop all the emotions he’d started in her heart.

Aries caught a glimpse of pain etched in the wrinkles around his eyes. Striker turned away and started pulling supplies out of his backpack. “I can’t do this.”

“Do what?”

Striker shook his head and Aries prompted, “Can’t kiss me, can’t trust me? What?”

“I can’t allow myself to get tangled up with someone. Not again.”

The thoughts of Striker with another woman confused her. On the New Dawn, everyone had one lifemate and that was it. “You mean you loved someone before?”

Striker’s hand tightened on the backpack. “I trusted someone a long time ago, allowed myself to love, if you will. She hurt me so much I lost my entire life and ended up here. I can’t experience that kind of pain again.”

Aries clasped her hand over her heart. “I’m so sorry.”

He waved her apology off as if it meant nothing. “It’s a tough world, Aries. And it’s dangerous to love. If I were you, I’d keep my heart well-guarded, because you never know when it will affect your decisions, when it will make you weak.”

Aries couldn’t take his advice. Watching him talk about his past made her realize she’d already given up her heart.

He had it.

Pimpin' Reads welcomes Lynn Chantale

Five days, three rules, and one sizzling seduction.

Delia has just three rules for dating. First, a man should never assume he’s the only one. Second, he must stick to his scheduled day and time. Third—and most important—no sex. Enforcing the rules has never been a problem until she meets the hottie from the pool.

Jace has only five days to make every moment count. The more time he spends with Delia, the more he realizes she may be The One. With the clock ticking, he realizes there is only one course of action to take if he wants Delia's heart. Can he convince Delia that rules are meant to be broken?

EXCERPT:

He rested a large hand against her thigh and brushed lazy circles along the sensitive skin near her knee with his thumb. She inhaled sharply at the sparks zigzagging through her veins.

"So how 'bout it?" Jace smiled. "Commit to one man for the rest of the cruise."

She laughed, tugging off her glasses and setting them on top of her book. "Did you have someone in mind?" A sigh escaped her lips when he inched his fingers higher up her thigh.

His hand stilled. "Yeah." Her pulse raced when he slid his gaze down her body a second time, and his continued touch did nothing to alleviate her predicament.

Delia moistened her dry lips. She should leave before she did something stupid, like fling herself into his arms and demand hot, sweaty sex.

"I should go." She stood, grabbing her book and glasses.

Jace stood as well and clasped her hand. Butterflies took flight in her belly. He tugged hard enough to pull her off balance and she stumbled against him.

"Hot date?" he asked.

Delia stared into his eyes, her heart hammering at his closeness. "I..." She couldn't push any more words across her dry tongue.

"You're just going to run?"

The challenge in his voice pricked her feminine pride and she straightened. She had to let him know she was still in control. "You never said who you had in mind," she countered. Instead of stepping away, she moved closer. Every time she exhaled, her breasts brushed against his chest. Tingles trickled down her spine, but still she didn't step away.

He smiled wolfishly. "I can't believe you haven't figured out who I have in mind."

"I want to hear you say it," she said.

"You do like a challenge."

She grinned. "Who said I didn't?"

"Good, 'cause here's one more." He dropped a kiss on her upturned mouth.

Welcome Diane Alberts

What kind of writer am I?

Hmm. Good question. I’d like to say I’m the meticulously planning type like I am in every other aspect of my life. I’m very controlling and organized. I like things done a certain way—mine—and in a timely manner—as soon as I ask you to do it, thank you—or else I get pissed.
But, ironically enough, with writing I am the opposite. I often plan a book by sitting down and writing. Yup, that’s it. If I need to know a certain detail—such as how to slit throats properly—then I do research on it. But I don’t do outlines. Don’t plot what will happen step-by-step. I don’t even really plot.
Okay, okay…sometimes, I get a scene in my head, and I know it will be in the book at some point. I usually have that happen at least once in a book. I currently have a book in my head, and I have one scene I must get into it, but I know nothing else about it. I only know: they will be in the woods and she will save him. And he’s not used to being saved, by anyone.
I digress though. Where was I? Oh, right.
The majority of the time, though, I let my characters decide. Once I touch the keyboard, my fingers just seem to know what to say. I, more often than not, am just as surprised by what my characters say and do as my readers are.
And that makes it so much more fun. Who wants to know everything that is going to happen right then and there?
Unless, of course, I told you to unload the dishwasher. At which point, you better get on it.
Now.
Seriously.

Kill Me Tomorrow is a paranormal romance book, in Decadent Publishing’s fabulous 1Night Stand series. The series revolves around the enigmatic Madame Eve who always seems to be able to find the perfect match for that special someone.

Blurb:
Jasmine Baruch is a jinn-a supernatural being who fights demons with fire. While that’s difficult enough, she’s got bigger problems. She’s a virgin, and in the jinn culture, that is sheer blasphemy. Jinn are supposed to be passionate, promiscuous creatures-everything she isn’t. Due to marry the next day, she takes matters into her own hands by using 1NS. But, like the rest of her life, nothing is easy. The man chosen for her, though incredibly gorgeous, is a demi-sanguine; a half-human, half-demon-her enemy.

Gavin Werbato is looking for an easy night of sex. Nothing more, nothing less. Instead, he gets a gorgeous jinn convinced it is her duty to kill him. He can certainly think of better things to do with her soft hands than murder. He need only convince her of that…

Can the fire sparked when these beings collide be controlled, or will it consume their world as they know it?
